Frame sizes and rider fit
Each kind of bike has its own sizes, from S to XL or your own list. A guest’s height and bike size stay on their record, and family members keep their own.
Outdoor Grid puts your bookings, your bikes, the workshop and your guided rides on one plan. Guests book a bike on their phone, the desk scans it out, and a bike that comes back damaged goes to the mechanic instead of back on the rack.
From the booking to the trail
The parts of a bicycle rental day that usually live in a notebook, a spreadsheet and the owner’s head, working from the same list.
Made for bike shops
Set up your fleet the way your shop talks about it. These are the parts bike shops ask us about first.
Each kind of bike has its own sizes, from S to XL or your own list. A guest’s height and bike size stay on their record, and family members keep their own.
Scan each bike out, check the battery, helmet and extras, and have the rental terms accepted while the guest waits. Waivers are signed at the kiosk.
A deposit when they book, the balance at pickup. Payments go to your own Stripe account, and refunds are kept on the booking.
Job cards for rental bikes and customer bikes alike. Fit parts from your own stock and see what is waiting, on the bench and ready.
Every shuttle run knows its driver, its seats and its bike racks, so riders and bikes go up the hill together.
Sell parts, clothing and accessories at the till from the same stock list, and see what to reorder before the shelf runs empty.
Questions at nine at night
Is there an e-bike free on Saturday? The assistant checks your live plan and your prices, answers in the guest’s language and sends a link to book. Anything it should not decide goes to your team.
What you get
Set up with you, around how your shop works today. If you rent skis or snowboards in winter, they run on the same account.
Yes. Your booking page runs on your own web address, in your colours, and works on a phone. Guests choose the bike and the size, pick their dates and pay a deposit online. The booking lands straight on your board.
You set up e-bikes as their own kind of bike, with the details you want to record. At handover the desk checks the battery and the extras on the same sheet, and does the same when the bike comes back.
The desk marks it damaged and adds a note. That opens a job in the workshop, and the bike stays out of the rental fleet until a mechanic marks it ready.
Yes. Tours run from timetables or as one-off departures, each with its seats, meeting point, guide and van. Guests can book a bike and a tour in the same basket.
Yes. Guests pay a deposit online and the balance at the desk. The money goes into your own Stripe account. If rentals and tours are two companies, each can have its own account.
Yes. Your fleet, products and customers can come across from a spreadsheet or your old system. We agree with you what moves over before you start.
